Privacy policy

The Privacy policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by Users of the exksc.eu website, hereinafter referred to as the Website.

  1. The administrator of personal data contained on the Website is KSC Poland Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Katowice, ul. Chorzowska 150, NIP 6342969552, REGON 384840662, hereinafter referred to as the Administrator. 
  2. The Website acquires information about Users entered in forms based on the consent given by them.
  3. The data provided are proceeded for the purpose resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g. to answer a question.
  4. The User who has entered data in the form has the right to:
    1. view, modify, delete personal data,
    2. processing restrictions and request to stop processing his/her data at any time,
    3. withdrawal of consent at any time – withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out before its withdrawal,
    4. transferring data to another personal data Administrator,
    5. submitting a complaint to the supervisory authority.
  5. Personal data provided by the User in the form will be processed for a period not longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were provided and until the existence of the Administrator’s legal, accounting and tax obligations, as well as until any claims expire. If consent has been given for the processing of personal data – until the consent is withdrawn.
  6. The Administrator complies with due diligence in order to properly secure the personal data provided, and in particular against disclosure to unauthorized persons.
  7. The personal data provided may be disclosed only to entities that have a legal basis resulting from the provisions of Polish law. 
  8. Entities collecting and processing personal data on the website come mainly from Poland and the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). Some of the suppliers are based outside of the EEA (e.g. Google Inc. is based in the USA and provides a website statistics service called Google Analytics). These entities are required to comply with the rules set out under the EU-US Privacy Shield program regarding the collection, use and storage of personal data of European Union citizens (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 on the adequacy of protection provided by the EU-US Privacy Shield) and contractual clauses adopted by the EU Commission.
  9. Legal grounds related to the processing of personal data:
    1. Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services,
    2. Act of 16 July 2004 Telecommunications Law,
    3. Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the EU Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC; (GDPR).

COOKIES USE POLICY

Cookies files are IT data, stored on Users’ end devices, intended for using websites.

  1. The exksc.eu website does not automatically collect any information, except for those contained in cookies. These include: IP address, domain name, browser type, type of operating system and data about the User’s navigation path and time spent on specific subpages.
  2. The Administrator may use cookies for the below purpose:
    1. increasing the usability of the website and adjusting its content to the User’s individual preferences,
    2. creating anonymous statistic based on Google Analytics (analysis of Users’ activities on the website and demographic data), excluding the possibility of identifying the User,
    3. displaying remarketing ads via Google AdWords to Users who have visited the website,
    4. displaying personalized ads tailored to the interests of users and their online behavior.
  3. Detailed information on how to handle cookies can be found in the eb browser settings. Using these settings, it is possible to specify the scope of the User’s consent to place this type of files in his browser. Restricting the use or preventing the use of cookies files may, however, affect some of the website’s functionalities.

SECURITY POLICY

  1. The User of the website should take care of the security of his/her devices that have access to the Internet. The device should have an antivirus program with an up-to-date virus definition database, a current and secure version of a web browser, and a “firewall” enabled.
  2. It is recommended to enable anti-phishing filters (tools) in your browser that check whether the web page displayed it authentic and not for phishing, e.g. by impersonating and institution or business entity.
  3. We recommend caution when opening attachments or clicking links in emails that the User did not expect, e.g. from unknown senders. In case of doubts, it is worth contacting the sender, e.g. by phone.
  4. Files should be downloaded only from trusted places. It is highly risky to install software from unverified sources.
  5. The Website User using a home Wi-Fi network should set a secure and difficult to crack network access password. It is also recommended to use the highest possible encryption standards for Wi-Fi wireless networks, which are possible to run on his/her equipment, e.g. WPA2.
